Laboratorios Vitros S.L. is a company dedicated to in Vitro diagnosis of veterinary allergies in pets (dogs, cats and horses).

Ever since it was launched, the company is located at the bioincubator of the Parque Científico de Madrid in Tres Cantos (Madrid), where it offers its services to veterinary clinics, and where it has carried out several research, development and innovation projects.

Veterinary allergy is a common condition in veterinary dermatology. Its incidence has risen significantly, with its most common manifestations being flea bite allergic dermatitis, food allergic dermatitis and atopic dermatitis.

Laboratorios Vitros S.L. developed an ELISA assay using monoclonal antibodies and high-quality lyophilised allergens. This assay, which is highly sensitive, specific and reproducible, identifies the allergens responsible for a previously diagnosed allergic process.

Similarly, our innovative R&D projects led to the development of 2 products: Alerquick, intended to be used by veterinarians themselves and a specific canine/feline IgE detection ELISA Kit intended for veterinary diagnostic laboratories.

All our products and assays have been tested and approved by the relevant Spanish Authorities through Santa Fe General Laboratory for Animal Health (Granada).
